The Charlie Kirk murder

At a meeting tonight somebody mentioned that Charlie Kirk was murdered.  My first reaction was, “Who?”  One of the advantages of not being connected to any type of social media is that I don’t see or hear a great number of “influencers,” as they are called.  I am told that Mr. Kirk was a major influencer for millions of people.

I also heard that he had two small children.  I’m not sure why anyone would want to kill him.  Why not just turn him off if you didn’t like him?

  1. Because he said this: ""I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights." And someone did turn him off, permanently and ironically!

  2. I did some research on him today because I thought I should know more about him. What an asshole. He thought the guy who attacked Nancy Pelosi's husband should be pardoned, and he said other really stupid and evil things. The flags at half mast? Really?

  3. Sometime, in our efforts to be the the "good guys" and our efforts at rapprochement we ignore how bad the "bad guys" are. And they're so damn stupid. We're still trying to recover from what Ray-gun did to the air traffic controllers, and they name an airport after him!
