Missouri protects abortion rights

If I remember correctly (and I am too lazy to look it up), Missouri was the first state to pass Draconian laws to limit abortion after the Dobbs decision.

On Tuesday the voters of Missouri passed an amendment to the state constitution enshrining the right to abortions.  They were not the only state to do so.  It’s not over.

President Biden's resignation

This evening I sent a message to President Biden asking him to resign from the presidency.  After all, we do have a precedent in the resignation of President Nixon, although that was for a much different reason.  If Biden resigned now, Kamala Harris would be the President.  That would put an end to the “can a woman be president?” issue.  Also, it might send President-elect Trump over the edge.

Buttons for sale

I am now producing campaign buttons on my kitchen table.  Each button says “Don’t blame me–I voted for Harris.”  The buttons are white with black print.  I am charging $5.00 each, and that includes postage.  The buttons are individually stamped.  Buy one now!

Already my friend Christina was treated to free drinks in New York while wearing one of these buttons.

I am not kidding.

Green Parties of Europe

A coalition of European Green Parties, including those from Belgium, Spain, Ukraine, Poland, and most other European nations, have urged Jill Stein to step aside.  They note that only Harris can stop Trump and his anti-environmental policies.  The rogue U.S. Green Party is not allied with the European Green parties, some of which are part of governing coalitions.

Take it from a former American Green Party member:  the current U.S. Green Party is a fraud and its presidential candidate, Jill Stein, is a stalking horse for Donald Trump.

I'm in a movie!

My friend RenĂ© just released a musical film for YouTube entitled “Great Big Man.”  It has a catchy tune, good vocal backing, interesting characters, and a political message.  My own performance is award worthy.

Millions of people are voting for this man

My friend Bill sent me this film of Trump’s speech in Wisconsin.  It’s hard to watch, but every Trump voter should watch it.

"a sin on our soul"

In the week or so before the election we miss important news because we are worried about the latest poll in Wisconsin or what Trump said in a rally in East Bimburg, Arizona.  In case you missed it, last Friday President Biden apologized for the federal governments’s policy of forcibly removing Indian children from their families and sending them to boarding schools where they were often neglected and abused and forced to abandon their cultures.

Biden said “I formally apologize as president of the United States of America for what we did.  I formally apologize.  It’s long overdue.”

Over 19,000 children were sent to such schools.  Nearly 1000 died while attending them.  Biden also signed legislation to invest $45 billion in infrastructure and health systems on reservations.  You may remember that Biden was also the first President to appoint an American Indian, Deb Haaland, to run the Department of the Interior.

I really like Joe Biden.  I think he was absolutely right to apologize.
