For days now I’ve been trying to remember where I saw a spectacle like the one where Trump struts through Lafayette Park, his toadies following behind. It finally came to me. He resembles old film clips of Mussolini strutting around, puffing out his chest, and trying to act tough.
Not a good role model, but somehow appropriate for Trump.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of D-Day. How far we have fallen.
Our neighbors daughter who lives in Washington DC was at the rally and she got whacked by some one with a club, I'm sure it wasn't a fellow protester. Individual one only cares about the first amendment when it is about him. Of course he loves the second amendment type of protests. I'm sure his photo op will be in campaign commercials.
ReplyDeleteI think they have already done a campaign ad on that bible thing. It came out soon after the event, but they may have pulled it. I don't think it plays well with most people.
