I can understand if House Republicans are reluctant to do anything about global warming. After all, their important issues are taking away abortion rights, worrying about what American history college professors are teaching, and investigating Hunter Biden.
What I can’t understand is voting to accelerate global warming. On Tuesday the Republicans in the House used their brand new majority to ram thought legislation that would repeal a Department of Labor rule that allows retirement funds to consider climate change when they are investing.
By the way, Senator Manchin, Democrat?, is also going along with this. Biden says he will veto any bill that would forbid companies from socially conscious investing.
