Today the New York Times had two articles on page A14. One, a continuation from the front page, was entitled “Biden Is Shoring Up Support of Democrats, But Passion Is Scarce.” The one below that was entitled, “With Unshakable Base, Trump May Be Hard to Beat in Primaries.”
Very few people are enthusiastic about Biden. I certainly am not. I’m one day older than Biden. I know what it is like to be his age. Right now he has a 39% approval rating. He is making the Ruth Bader Ginsberg/Dianne Feinstein/Mitch McConnell error of thinking he is invincible.
Then we have Trump. Indicted today, his approval rating will go up. The Republicans will keep hammering about Hunter Biden, and that will be equated by many voters with Trump’s destruction of the country. Trump will breeze through the primaries and win the nomination with ease.
Put up against Biden on the debate stage, Trump will attack, Biden will stumble around, and Trump will win. He will then pardon all the people convicted in the Jan. 6 attack and also himself. Global warming will increase, the country will suffer riots and violence like never before, Russia and China will grow strong, NATO will be abandoned, and the world will enter a period of chaos and misery. You heard it here first.
