This is getting good. Matt Gaetz as Trump’s Attorney General. Wow. And a Fox News guy as Secretary of Defense. This is turning into a confederacy of dunces. So far I’m enjoying this. And Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy as advising on efficiency? It gets better every day.

ReplyDeleteAs of today, add Linda "WWE" McMahon and Dr. Oz into the mix. This is getting good. I never thought I would write, "Go, Trump, go!" but here we are.
ReplyDeleteIf he's going to create a clusterfuck, let's really get in there and make it a monumental one. NO half measures. Make the administration something that archaeologists a thousand years from now say, "What the FUCK?!" when they uncover this part of our history.
If I were Vladimir Putin, and I wanted to destroy the USA from the inside-out, I wouldn't whisper names in Trump's ear of people who were effective at policy, whose viewpoints were merely out of step with the average or even left-leaning Americans.
I would choose candidates who were clearly not suited to their roles, who would burn their government buildings into the ground by their incompetence and insanity. Make the US government dysfunctional or bring it to a standstill. Hell, abolish our institutions! There IS no government!
And, maybe, just maybe, the Republican-led Congress might actually say, "M-maybe this has gone too far." I say, "Nah," but a guy can dream. After all, I'm morbidly curious how bad the candidates have to be before Congress says the emperor has no clothes.
