Congressman Meuser represents portions of five Pennsylvania counties–Luzerne, Lebanon, Schuylkill, Wyoming, and Lycoming. He wrote an article for the Times News published on Jan. 10, 2025, shortly before Trump began his second term in office. The article was entitled “Making the American economy great again.”
Meuser began his essay with this sentence “The American people voted for President Trump’s plan to grow the economy, cut waste and restore fiscal sanity.”
Later in the same article Meuser says “By reversing restrictive regulations like the LNG Pause and Methane Rule and embracing domestic energy production, we can lower costs for families, bring down inflation and revitalize manufacturing.”
He really wrote that. I am not making this up.
Now Meuser is running for re-election
