I once had a client tell me that I was condescending. I wasn't a fan of hers and no doubt she was likely correct. So in response, in my most condescending tone and manner and especially smile, I told her that that's what my wife Maura says about me too. I learned from that though and have persevered to be less condescending in my interactions with others. Sometimes I think in such terms, but learned to contain the spirit internally.
