C'mon Trump, this is basic stuff

It’s right there in the very first amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press....”

The head of “60 Minutes “ has said he would not apologize as any part of a prospective settlement in a lawsuit brought by Trump against CBS.  Trump is accusing the network of deceptive editing of an interview with Kamala Harris

The parent company of CBS, Paramount, thinks a settlement and apology would increase the odds that the Trump administration would approve a pending multibillion dollar merger with another company.

The new head of the FCC, Brendan Carr, a Trump appointee and bootlicker, requested the interview materials.  The head of Paramount, Shari Redstone, will probably pay Trump in a settlement.

Bill Owens, the head of “60 Minutes” and evidently a man with integrity, says there is no way he will apologize.  You can’t apologize when you’ve done nothing wrong.
