Since the end of the Vietnam War 40,000 people in Vietnam have been killed by unexploded bombs and land mines and 60,000 have been injured. In Cambodia the death toll is over 65,000.
The U.S. has been aiding those countries to help clear the mines and unexploded bombs. China has aided in the effort as well.
The new administration has ended the U.S. involvement in this effort.
