I’ve noticed a spate of articles and op-ed essays urging Clinton supporters to give Trump a chance. They criticize Clinton voters for being poor sports. They give us lectures on democracy and how it works.
OK, point taken. I will give Trump the same treatment that the Republicans gave to President Obama when he was elected. Surely you can remember that. It was only eight years ago.
I won't ever forget 2008. Republicans got together the night before President Obama took his oath od office. They all agreed to not support anything that President Obama wanted to accomplish. You know, they couldn't let a black man succeed. I hope the democrats use the filibuster often. After all it is only fair.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I am tired of lectures about accepting the results from people who never accepted President Obama and even claimed he was born in Kenya.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Back in the spring, Peggy Noonan basically called Democrats a bunch of cry babies for complaining that the GOP didn't give Obama a chance. I really do think it's time to take a page from their book and do everything possible to block Trump's agenda (whatever it is). I suspect he will create as much chaos as he can to distract opponents from his primary goals.
