From actually having an election (rather than a delay), to the call by the AP, through state certifications, through Congressional certification, and then finally--finally--to Inauguration Day, I didn't realize I had been holding my breath through all of it until noon EST Wednesday when I just felt lighter.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter said she felt that a physical burden had been lifted from her shoulders. I knew exactly what she meant. These last few days have been so relaxing.
