Chris Christie never got the opportunity to confront Donald Trump in a debate. I was so looking forward to that. Guys from New Jersey know how to insult, and you know he would have gotten under Trump’s skin. Trump, of course, wouldn’t appear in a debate since he might say something about wet magnets or flushing toilets or having the right to kill people without penalty and expose his dementia to the viewing audience.
I know there are people in the cancel culture who will point out that Christie endorsed Trump in 2016 and worked on his transition team. I forgave him for that years ago. Better wisdom come late than not come at all. I’m sorry to see him go.
