I worked the Democratic booth at the Carbon County Fair today from 3 to 6 p.m. I can tell you that there are an amazing number of unhealthy-looking people at the fair.
The obesity rate among fair goers must be way above not only the national average but the Pennsylvania average. Believe me, it is not pretty.
What’s even worse, I’m in that group.
I am not in that group. My BMI has always been under 25. Good living an a active life still. My good wine helps too.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you are among the few at the fair. The fair seems to attract lots of smokers, lots of people who do not have an active life style. Maybe it's a cultural thing native to this area.
