No, Sen. Toomey. “Inappropriate” is wearing shorts to a funeral. It is double-dipping your tortilla chip. It is rooting for the Patriots.
Cutting off military aid to an endangered ally unless that ally interferes in an American election is not “inappropriate.” It is an impeachable offense.
Even if the Senate doesn't have the votes to vote him out of office, he needs the stain of impeachment on him. They need the actual transcript of the letter that was put into the highly secure server. If they get that then I think there is a chance of his removal. He is definitely hiding something.
ReplyDeleteSome of it will also depend on public opinion. If these Republican Senators think it is to their advantage to dump him, they will. They are not about either morality or the Constitution. They are about reelection.
