A recent article in the Times looked at changing attitudes toward Biden. For example, in July 2022 only 5% of Democrats aged 18-29 thought the party should renominate Biden, but by last month that number had reached 17%.
One of the people pictured said that Biden should have been “more aggressive” about canceling student debt.
He was aggressive. The Supreme Court said his policy was illegal. What should he do? March down the Court? Challenge Clarence Thomas to a duel? Call on a mob to storm the Supreme Court building? I don’t mind if Democrats don’t want to renominate Biden, I share that sentiment. What makes me despair is a completely uninformed opinion.
